The Nursing Division which is responsible for the caring aspect is consists of the following clinical areas:

FIRST FLOOR

The OUT-PATIENT DEPARTMENT COMPLEX is housed on a separate two-storey L-shaped building adjacent to, and facing the North wing of the main building. It caters to non-emergency cases, Mondays to Fridays during working office days. It has departmentalized clinical services, with staff assigned by the clinical departments per schedule/bulletin. It provides diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services including surgical intervention for ambulatory/day care cases.

In coordination with the Wellness Program Coordinators, it also provides continuing programs on promotion of health and prevention of diseases through video clips which starts with a prayer, lectures, demonstration and free clinics.

The RADIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT was former National Cancer Control Center, this was absorbed by the hospital through E.O. 119 signed by then former President Corazon Aquino, January 31, 1987. It is located on a separate two-storey building, adjacent to and facing the south wing of the main building, the Emergency Service Complex. It caters to patients needing radiotherapy treatment and training to medical physicists and radiotherapist technicians.

The MINOR OPERATING ROOM caters to patients scheduled for elective and ambulatory surgical interventions. It is located at the west wing of the main building and Out Patient Department. It operates from Mondays to Fridays, 8-5 pm.

SECOND FLOOR

The UROLOGY WARD provides care to patients with problems of the excretory system. It is located at the south west wing of the main building following immediately the Orthopedics wards, with 17 beds.

The ORTHOPEDICS WARD provides care to patients with problems of the bones. It is located at the south west wing of the main building with 45 beds.

The SURGERY DEPARTMENT caters to patients needing surgical interventions, it is divided into two departments; the FEMALE surgical ward is located at the north east wing of the hospital with 45 beds. It attends to patients from ages 0 – above, while the MALE Surgery is located at the west east wing of the hospital with 55 beds,from ages 13 above.

General Surgery:

• GS A (Color Code: Blue) – Head & Neck Surgery, Breast and Soft Tissue
• GS B (Color Code: Pink) – Hepatobiliary System, Pediatric Surgery
• GS C (Color Code: White) – Trauma Surgery
• GS D (Color Code: Yellow) – Colorectal Surgery

Subspecialties:

• Neurosurgery(Color Code: Orange)
• Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (Color Code: Green)
• Reconstructive/Plastic Surgery (Color Code: Violet)

The BURN UNIT is a subspecialty of surgery which is responsible for all types of burn cases, located within the area of the Female Surgery. It has six beds.

The MAIN OPERATING ROOM caters to all scheduled surgical interventions and procedures, direct, emergency, elective, minor and major cases for patients who are confined. It is located at the west wing of the main building. It has 12 theaters.

The POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT caters to all post-operative patients inducted with anaesthesia till they recover from its effects. It is located just immediately after the Main Operating Room with 14 stretcher beds.

The SURGICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT is responsible for post-operative patients needing close and special monitoring, located beside the PACU, with five (5) beds.

The CENTRAL STERILE SUPPLY DEPARTMENT is entrusted with the sterilization processing of the instruments and supplies and its issuances to different clinical areas. It is also functions to stock and issues non-sterile supplies. It is located at the south wing of the main hospital adjacent to Obstetrical Ward.

The OBSTETRICAL AND GYNECOLOGICAL WARD is responsible to care for women in all stages of their reproductive life and those with problems of the female reproductive system. It is located at the west wing of the hospital near the delivery room. Right now it is undergoing renovation and they are occupying one room of the EENT Ward with 12 beds, hence they are limiting admissions.

The DELIVERY ROOM is entrusted to attend to all the normal spontaneous deliveries including forceps and procedures to address completion curettage. It implements the EINC, it is located at the west wing of the main hospital near the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Ward it has three delivery tables. It is presently undergoing renovation; hence it is occupying one room at the Emergency Service Complex. Admission is limited.

The NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT is catering to newborns delivered in this hospital needing medical and surgical interventions. It also provide transitional care toobserve newborns who are considered well but due to trauma to delivery like respiratory distress, meconium stained, phototherapy/bililight. This provides a room for breastfeeding mothers. It is located at the farthest west wing of the main building near the Delivery Room, it has 30 bassinets. It is undergoing renovation, hence it is occupying one room at the Pediatrics Ward.

THIRD FLOOR

The MEDICAL DEPARTMENT is catering to patients with medical and neurological problems. It is divided into two departments, the FEMALE Medical Ward which is located at the right north wing of the main hospital admits female patients from 18 above, it has 47 beds, while the MALE MEDICAL WARD is located at the opposite side which is the left south wing of the main building, it admits male patients, it has 55 beds.

The MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT is responsible for caring for patients with medical problems needing cardiac and ventilator support management. It is located inside the Female Medical Ward with five (5) beds.

The PEDIATRICS WARD is caring for paediatrics patients from ages 0-18 with medical and neurologic problems. It is located in the west wing of the hospital with 50 beds/cribs/bassinets.

The PEDIATRICS INTENSIVE CARE UNIT caters to paediatrics patients with the aim to improve the chance of surviving the critical illnesses and to thrive thereafter. It is located within the Pediatrics ward, it has six beds.

FOURTH FLOOR

The PAYWARDS provides general and specialty care to paying patients. Patients are attended by consultants and specialists. PAYWARD I is located at the left south east wing of the main building, with 26 beds, while PAYWARD II is on the west wing of the main building with 26 beds. These wards contribute to the hospital income generation to support its operational expenses.

The EENT WARDS caters to patients with problems of the eyes, ears, nose and throat. It is located at the right north wing of the main building with 40 beds.
